3 posts in one day! Amazing! Yesterday I went to the Paraparumu Library to pick up a copy of Twilight. I wanted to read it again and my copy is in the states. The cover is really different. I like the American version better. But I thought I would post it for all you twilight fanatics out there.

I had to take a screenshot because usually you have to pay to get spots like that! But that is just a little too public for me. So I am going to go change my screen name now... It was fun while it lasted.

Update!

Well it's about time for an update don't ya think?? First off I have another random story! yay for randomness! I had just finished my last tutorial before the start of my two week holiday. I was strolling down Lampton Quay on the way to the train station to go home. I was walking along when I saw this big blue thing up ahead. I couldn't figure out what it was. As I got closer I realized it was none other than the.... Cookie Monster! Yes the cookie monster was on Lampton Quay. It was pretty much the best thing ever. He was of course handing out cookies to all who passed by. It just made my day so much awesomer. (is that a word?? well it is now) Unfortunately I did not have my camera... again. My mom keeps telling me that I need to take it. I definitely will take it once my holiday is over. Another fun story about Lampton Quay. The first time me, my mom, and caleb went into Wellington we walked down Lambton Quay. It looked like they were filming a commercial or something. They were a couple of teenage boys that looked like they were going to be doing some street performing. They had a trombone and sax and other similar instruments. They were playing a little bit and then they just froze. We noticed there were about 30 other people that were frozen in place. There were camera's around so we don't know if they were filming a commercial or something. But it was really funny. It reminds me of some of these videos on youtube. There is one that is hilarious! I will find it and post it on here. 

I have a new calling it is the female YSA rep!! surprise surprise! There aren't very many YSA's in my branch although there seem to be some more coming as of late. They have been trying to have this YSA Ball for awhile now but it keeps getting postponed. So we will have to see if it actually happens. 

I am going to try and post more often so I can have alot of smaller posts instead of really long ones. Because I tend to ramble on and on. I will try and make that happen so my blog isn't just one big ramble! haha. My littlest bro. Caleb has a blog now! I helped him set one up when we first arrived in NZ. But he is actually posting stuff now. There are some funny videos of him on there. Look him up under my Awesome Bloggers. 

My family and I went to this place called Red Rocks and we saw some seals! It was about a two hour walk roundtrip. It was pretty cool. This particular colony is a bachelor colony. They are the rejects. They couldn't find a female mate so they come chill here for the winter and then go back and try again. Kinda sad huh? We also went into Wellington today and looked around. I don't feel like adding captions so I am just going to post the pics. I know I am lame. This is why I need to do smaller posts.  These pictures are completely out of order but oh well. 

Happy Birthday Jared!!

This is a tad bit late, but Sunday was my "little" brother's b-day! He turned the big 1-9. Since he is about to embark on a two year mission. He got lots of little things that will be useful in his mission. Such as a camera, journals, address book that type of stuff. His papers have been on for about 7 weeks and we still haven't received his call yet. But it should be coming any day now! (fingers crossed) Once it comes I am sure it will be up on both mine and my moms blog's. So keep an eye out for that!! In honor of my brother's b-day I have a few pictures (in no particular order) of the two of us growin' up. 

The night if his birthday we had a dinner and some of the family came over. This is a video of us singing to him. Happy birthday little bro!

I think that Victoria is probably the most random school I have ever been too. I seriously see

something that makes me go "What the heck?" everyday. I need to document them better but here is another random story. I have been going to the library quite a bit in the last week or two. I have been gathering info for assignments. blah. Anyways a few days ago I was coming down the stairs and got to the main floor. The door out to the main floor is clear and I see through the door this orangey cat walking around. I thought this was very strange. I wondered how it had wandered in without anyone catching it and shooing it back outside. No one else seemed to think twice about it. I figured someone would take care of it and left to go to class. I was at the library again on tuesday. I was there with a girl Larissa who is in a few of my classes and we were getting stuff for an assignment. I see this cat again. Except this time it was curled up on one of the seats asleep. I asked her what that cat was doing in here. She told me that the cat lives there. Huh a cat living in the uni library?? Strange. Well it seems I am the only one that thinks so no one even bats an eye that it lives in there. My mom told me that I need to take my camera into school with me so I can document these weird stories. Oh so knit boy was there again on Monday knitting away so I have figured he must actually be in my NZSL lecture. 

I have one week left of uni and then I get a two week holiday!!! I think I am going to be heading down to Christchurch for a few days and hanging out with some of my cousins!! 

The other day I was bored and I was able to talk Caleb into letting me straighten his hair!! Me and my mom wanted to see how long it was when it was straight. Here are some pictures of the event. 

I was trying to do the "swept" look but his hair would not work with me. But it kind of worked. I think he actually kind of liked his hair like this but it didn't last too long because he went down to the beach while it was raining about 1/2 hour later so it went curly again. 

I had a birthday present delivered to the house on Thursday!!! My piano!!! I was super happy to finally have a piano again. I pretty much have been playing it since it got here. 

Look at it isn't it gorgeous!!! I am in love with it. I am going to take it with me everywhere I go. Well not everywhere, but everywhere I live it will be there. I want to take it back to the states when I go back! hopefully I can!

Random thought: I don't know how many people know about this dance battle thing that was going on on Youtube. For those who have no idea what I am talking about I will give a little bot of background.  John M. Chu (director of Step Up 2) and Adam Sevani (he played Moose in the movie) had a dance crew called ACDC. The two of them along with their crew made a youtube video and challenged Miley Cyrus and her BFF Mandy (their crew became the M&M cru) to "The Biggest Online Dance Battle in Youtube History" This thing became pretty huge. Then an announcement was made that they were going to battle live at the Teen Choice Awards and a winner would be announced. Me and the bros were bummed because we wouldn't be able to watch it. But of course it went up on youtube. We thought that ACDC would win because they were obviously the MUCH better crew. But the M&M cru won. I seriously think that it was rigged because Miley Cyrus was the host. They even got booed because they won. So LAME!! Anyways you should go check out the videos because they are awesome!!
