dog bite and a little dude.

As some of you may know a few weeks ago I was bit by a dog. It was actually a little YSA activity our branch was having. We were making baby frames for all the women that have just had babies in the branch. One of the YSA was house sitting for a couple while they were away. We decided to have our activity there for the night. It was a pretty fun night. We watched 17 again and then got to work on the frames. When we finished we were being given a tour of the house. This was a really nice house. Johnny was showing us the backyard and they had this huge dog. I swear it could have been a mini horse. The dog ended up sneaking inside so Johnny let it stay inside. I was petting the dog for about 5 minutes. Then before I knew it the dog was biting me and then it was over. It was so fast no one is really sure what exactly happened. I was wearing a sweater so the dog's teeth didn't actually make contact with the skin. Here are some pictures of the damage.

It is actually still a bit swollen. The whole are where the bite is has been pretty much numb since the bite took place so it hasn't hurt that bad at all. just below the bite was a long strip of a bruise. You can actually see a little bit of it still. One last thing before I stop talking about this completely. Me and jared have been joking that we have become Mortal enemies. (if you don't know what i'm talking about go here and here) This is what I told him last monday.

P.S. Werewolf trumps vampire. Because Jacob is WAY better than Edward. hahaha.

I don't know how he has seen the trailer for New Moon but I do have to agree that the wolves do look pretty retarded. That is not how I pictured them in my head at all.

Moving On.

A few weeks ago (can you tell I am way behind on blogging!) we had a branch talent show. My mom and caleb had a little act going on. Here is one of the first practices they had. It gets funnier as it goes on. To see the actual performance go here.

Random side note: The other day I was driving and there were several rainbows out. I was very disappointed when I found the end of the rainbows and there was no pot of gold at the end. stupid lying leprechauns.
